Oil Filter Tip O-Ring, Rein - E36, E39, X3, X5, Z3, Z4, M52, M52TU, M54

The oil filter cap on M52, M52TU, M54, and M56 engines uses 2 small o-rings to seal the lower part of the cap to the oil filter housing. As suggested by the Bentley Publishers repair manual, these seal rings should be replaced during each oil change.

**N20 4-cylinder models use a single o-ring on the oil filter cap.

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11427549573 (11-42-7-549-573) and is described as Green O-ring (7mm ID x 2.5mm thick) for oil filter cap. 

Replaces BMW part 11421744001 (11-42-1-744-001).
