This head gasket is for M62TU engines used in 1999-later E39 540i, E38 740i, E31 840ci, and E53 X5 4.4i. This is for bank 2 of the V8, on the driver side of the engine bay. This is the standard thickness gasket, not for a cylinder head that has been milled or shaved.
