N20 Turbocharger Install Kit, OEM, Lite - 228i/328i/428i/528i, X1/X3/X4, Z4

This kit is the bare minimum of parts needed to replace the turbo on your 2012-2016 F22 228i, F30 328i, F32 428i, F10 528i, X1 28i, X3 28i, X4 28i, and Z4 28i. When replacing the N20/N26 turbo there are many parts that must be replaced and some that are simply a good idea to replace. This kit is intended for the ace DIYer who does not need all of the parts from one of our full kits and will re-use some original parts. There are some parts like clamps that can be re-used and new studs are not necessarily required (we include 3 new studs just in case they back out). This kit uses all Genuine BMW parts - no OEM or aftermarket - so you can be assured the parts are of the same quality and performance as when the car was new.

Oil Supply Line: BMW has issued numerous revised parts for the oil feed line going to the turbo. The original design would allow oil to leak back into the turbo after the engine was shut off. This resulted in blue smoke on cold start-up. BMW will replace the oil supply line as part of the emissions warranty but we do offer it separately if you are out of warranty or it was already done.

All of the parts in this kit are Genuine BMW, just as if you went to the local dealer parts department (but bundled together for special kit pricing). All Genuine BMW parts include a two year warranty.
