This rear main crankshaft seal kit is comprised of original BMW components, which includes the following components:

• Rear Main Crankshaft Seal, Genuine BMW
• Steel Gasket for Rear Cover, Genuine BMW
• 6 hex bolts, Genuine BMW

This is the repair kit is an original BMW replacement for the rear main seal on BMW M20, M42, M50, M52, S52, and S54 engines.

The rear main seal is easily accessed during your clutch replacement, and should be considered for replacement when performing that service.
