Top-End Gasket Set - OEM Elring - N52 (2006 models before 3/2006)

BMW puts these gasket sets together to aid in replacing the head gaskets on the N52 engine in 2006 E90 325i/330i, E60 525i/530i, and E85/E86 Z4. This set includes 5mm valve stem seals for cars made before 3/2006.

Not for cars made after February 2006. Be sure to check your production date before ordering. Cars with a model year after 2006 will not use this top-end gasket set, as this is only used on early production 2006 models. 

Instead of buying only the head gasket, this kit includes all of the other gaskets and seals needed to do the job. See the complete list below. Note that BMW put this kit together to fit multiple models and some extra parts may be included that you won't use. Additional parts such as the head gasket, head bolts, other hardware, sensors, and hoses are sold separately.

Symptoms of head gasket failure include: white residue (tapioca) in the valve cover, under the oil filler cap, and in drained oil, low coolant (not caused by failure in cooling system), low oil, oil leak onto exhaust manifold, and loss of power from loss of compression. Cooling system trouble on the M62 must be addressed quickly as the aluminum heads are easily damaged if overheating occurs.

This is an OEM Top-End Gasket Set for N52 engines manufactured by Elring Klinger - an original supplier to BMW for many gaskets and seals. As an OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
