This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11121738410 (11 12 1 738 410) and is described as the valve cover for 1993, 1994 and 1995 E36 325i and M3 models with M50 and S50US engines. This is the magnesium valve cover itself but gaskets are sold separately. Top plastic trim also sold separately. See links below for Related Items. 

This item is no longer available new from BMW. We recommend finding one used for a second source or salvage yard. 

Not for cars before 1993. This valve cover is for the later 1993, 1994 and 1995 M50 engines, as well as 1995 3.0 liter S50 M3 engine. It is not for pre-1993 engines, which did not have the variable valve timing. 

This is a Genuine BMW M50 valve cover with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
