This is the Genuine BMW water pump profile gasket for the S54 engine in the E46 M3 and Z4 M (not for MZ3 S54). This should be replaced with any new water pump or any time the pump is removed from the car. But if you have a leaky aftermarket gasket this is the Original BMW replacement to get you back to a dry engine bay.
