This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11617549043 (11 61 7 549 043) and is described as the M6 cap nut often found on valve covers of vintage BMW models such  as 2002, E21, E30 M3, E26 M1, 535i, 635CSi, 735i, 750iL, 850i, and others. This is the perfect cherry-on-top finishing touch to go along with a restored valve cover.

Sold per nut. This one is an unfinished raw aluminum finish. For the chrome version see part #07119924324 (see Related Items below) but note the chrome is a shorter nut.
