M56 Spark Plug Hole Gaskets, Genuine BMW - E46 325i M56 SULEV

This is the profile gasket used to seal all six spark plug hole gaskets between the valve cover and cylinder head on 2003-2005 E46 325i models with the M56 SULEV engine as well as the 2003-2006 325Ci SULEV. The M56 SULEV engine was the "Super-Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle" version of the E46 325i/325Ci as offered in California, New York, Massachusetts, and other CARB-emissions based states in model years 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. 

A fresh spark plug hole gasket should be installed any time the valve cover is removed or if the existing gasket shows signs of leaking (oil in the spark plug holes).
