This NGK spark plug is one step colder on the heat range than the original plugs. This is valuable on highly-tuned S14 engines that may experience pinging/detonation at high RPM. This plug is a similar heat index as the Bosch XR4CS (which is in very short supply).
DR8ES has been replaced by the DR8EA - all of the specs are the same.
