2011-2/2015 F12/F13 640i, 640xi Coupe/Convertible (Production date before 3/2015).

2013-2015 Active Hybrid 7 

Not for RHD models. This turbo is for left hand drive models only, such as US Spec LHD cars.

While the N55 turbo setup is generally considered a step forward in reliability for the turbo 6-cylinder models, turbo failures are fairly common and expected on BMWs with high mileage, age, hard and aggressive driving, and higher levels of boost due to modification.
