aFe Pro 5R Performance Package - F22 228i, F3X 328i/428i (N20)

This 228i/328i/428i performance package offers bang for your buck! It consists of a aFe Momentum intake and aFe SCORCHER GT tuning module, Carbon Fiber Dynamic Air Scoops and a service kit.

The Momentum filter size and shape have been custom-designed just for these models to maximize the available surface area and permit more air into the engine. The Momentum air box is then built around the filter to completely seal it away from engine heat. The air intake is completely redesigned to maximize air flow in the airbox and intake ducting, including using CAD and roto-molding to produce efficient designs using premium materials. Dynamic air scoops are also included for a "ram-air" effect in the front grilles. This kit includes the aFe Pro 5R oiled cotton filter. The Pro 5R is an oiled-cotton gauze filter media - the 5-layer filter flows a lot better than the stock filter while a small coating of retention oil traps dirt, dust, and debris. The Pro 5R filter is washable and reusable and only needs occasional cleaning and re-oiling from an aFe service kit.

The Scorcher tuning module is a plug-and-play, reversible, power upgrade with immediate results that leaves all factory safeguards in place. Unlike flash tuning that may be invasive or unavailable the Scorcher module is an easy plug-in install on 228i/328i/428i models (with N20 engine) and no need to remove your ECU.
