Valve Shim Set, Genuine BMW - E30 M3, E28 M5, E34 M5, E24 M6

These hardened steel shims used in the S14, M88, and S38 engines used in the E30 M3, E28 M5, E34 M5, E24 M6. These are also used in Euro S50 engines in the E36 M3. These are the Genuine BMW shims, the same as what was in the car originally and what BMW dealers use for valve adjustments. Valve adjustments are a fact of S14/S38 ownership life. BMW recommends they be done every 15,000 miles. Still, every owner is probably going to have to adjust the valves at least once during their ownership.

This set includes multiples of each thickness shim, which is almost always enough to cover a valve adjustment.
