Eisenmann has engineered the E46 M3 exhaust to use this center resonator as an option. This center section with the resonator is for the small group of our customers that want to fine-tune their exhaust level, perfect for adding back a resonator if you had a straight pipe. It's a free-flow design, similar to the stock factory resonator but lighter.
As with their mufflers, the Eisenmann center pipes are made from T304/T306 stainless steel. This is a tuned center resonator, replacing the stock piece, and must be cut and clamped or welded onto the original exhaust.
This exhaust section is built to order and ships from Eisenmann's factory in Germany. Please allow 5-7 weeks for production and shipment.
Note: This exhaust system is designed to change the tone and increase the volume of the exhaust. Some states or jurisdictions have strict sound regulations that prohibit any changes to the factory exhaust. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure his/her vehicle complies with all federal, state, county, or local regulations. Installation of this exhaust will not increase emissions nor cause a check-engine light or fault codes on a properly maintained vehicle. It was developed to work with all factory emissions controls and equipment.
