Eisenmann has engineered the E46 323i/328i exhaust to use this center section as an option. The factory E46 mid-section uses two resonators to tone down the exhaust volume even more. By removing the second resonator in line with a straight pipe, more exhaust volume can be heard. It's like turning the volume knob up a few clicks.
As with their mufflers, the Eisenmann center pipe is made from T304/T306 stainless steel. This is only the straight pipe section for the second resonator. This is a cut and clamp installation - cut the pipe for the original resonator and slide the new section in place. This design makes this an easy upgrade at any time so you can try out the muffler first and if you desire more sound the center section can be added later.
This exhaust section is built to order and ships from Eisenmann's factory in Germany. Please allow 6-10 weeks for production and shipment.
