EGR block-off plate set (also known as a SAI blockoff plate) is designed to seal the EGR pump ports when removing the air Secondary Air Pump system from OBD2 M52 family engines or when installing a tubular OBD2 header to a OBD1 engine.
Kit includes precision-cut stainless plates and gaskets. Requires air pump simulator or software update to remove air pump codes when retaining stock ECU on 1996+ cars. Fits 1996+ US M52 6-cylinder headers, including E36 models (323is, 328i, 328is, M3) and M52 Z3 6 cylinder models (3.2 thru 2000 and 2.8 liter thru 1998).
