This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11657649289 (11-65-7-649-289) and is described as OEM Mitsubishi Turbocharger, Front Bank, for N54 powered E9X 335i (2007-2010), E82 135i (2008-2010), 1M (2011), E89 Z4 35. Not for RHD models.

This turbo is made by Mitsubishi, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to BMW, and maker of the Genuine BMW N54 factory turbos. You are buying a brand new, authentic OEM turbo, not a rebuilt or remanufactured turbo. As this is a brand new turbo, there is NO CORE CHARGE and NO CORE EXCHANGE required -- saving you time, money, and effort. Perhaps best of all, we're able to offer these at an amazing price point that can help lessen the cost of the a relatively expensive N54 turbo overhaul job.

This is the latest and most updated replacement Turbo available. By buying this OEM replacement turbo you can be assured you are getting the most recent design improvements over the older and revised turbos.

This turbo replaces these old / obsolete / superseded part numbers:

BMW part # 11657583863 (11 65 7 583 863)
BMW part # 11654564710 (11 65 4 564 710)
BMW part # 11657563685 (11 65 7 563 685)

Is your N54 powered BMW suffering signs of turbo failure? Are your turbos not making full boost? Does your 135i, 335i, 535i or Z4 35i feel down on power, hesitating, or going into limp mode? Are your wastegates rattling? These are signs that your turbos are failing or already failed. The easiest cure and method of "resetting the clock" is to install new turbos and make your N54 twin-turbo BMW run and feel like it did when it was brand spanking new. In many cases, this turbo will help make your BMW feel BETTER than new, as BMW and Mitsubishi made design improvements, particularly on the earlier year cars.

Are you reusing your original oil supply/return lines?
In some cases, the turbocharger oil lines can be reused. Careful inspection is highly recommended. Aging oil lines are a common source of leaks. The oil supply and return lines can also become kinked during the turbocharger removal process. If you suspect that your lines have been bent or damaged, it is wise to replace them preventively. Another reason to replace the N54 oil lines is that the lines can become plugged and restricted by burnt oil residue, causing the turbochargers to overheat and fail. If you're replacing your turbos, we recommend replacing the oil supply/return lines while you're in there. See below for BimmerWorld Recommended Related Items.
