OEM BMW Turbo Charger - N54 Rear 335i & 335xi (2007-2010) - 11657649290
A brand new factory N54 turbo with no core charge!
This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11657649290 (11 65 7 649 290) and is described as OEM N54 Rear Turbo Charger, Rear, for the E90/E92/E93 chassis 335i & 335xi, as offered for the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 model years.
This turbo also fits all 335is for the 2011, 2012, and 2013 model years. The 335is was a special edition that featured the N54 twin-turbo model for 3 additional years (while the standard 335i and 335xi models moved to the later "non twin turbo" engine design.)
Are you feeling the turbo failure blues? Are your N54 turbos suffering from waste gate rattles, leaks, poor running, low or reduced boost, bearing failure, check engine trouble code, limp mode, or other symptoms of failure? If so, a new turbo (or two) is likely in your 335i / 335xi / 335is BMW's future.
While the N54 is an impressively strong and ridiculously tune-able engine platform, all turbos that see mileage, heat, abuse, added boost and modifications, will eventually fail. But don't worry! If you replace the turbo(s) you can reset the clock and get back the smooth and torque-y performance every E90/E92/E93 335i should have!
This is a Mitsubishi made new turbo, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for BMW. Mitsubishi is known for their super-high quality turbos, and BimmerWorld has great pricing to help get your N54 powered 335i back to peak boost and performance.
This N54 rear turbo is the latest version available. By buying this Mitsubishi N54 turbo, you can be assured you are getting the most recent design improvements and changes. It can be used to replace any of the following old / revised / obsolete / superseded / previous BMW part numbers:
BMW part number 11657583864 (11 65 7 583 864)
BMW part number 11654564711 (11 65 4 564 711)

Are you reusing your original oil supply/return lines?
In some cases, the turbocharger oil lines can be reused. Careful inspection is highly recommended. Aging oil lines are a common source of leaks. The oil supply and return lines can also become kinked during the turbocharger removal process. If you suspect that your lines have been bent or damaged, it is wise to replace them preventively. Another reason to replace the N54 oil lines is that the lines can become plugged and restricted by burnt oil residue, causing the turbochargers to overheat and fail. If you're replacing your turbos, we recommend replacing the oil supply/return lines while you're in there. See below for BimmerWorld Recommended Related Items.
