This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11657649293 (11 65 7 649 293) and is described as a Genuine BMW rebuilt rear turbocharger for 2008-2010 E60 535i and 535xi. This is for bank 2 which is the rear turbo on the 535i.

Turbochargers are normal wear items and separate from the other issues common on the N54. Turbocharger seals and gaskets can leak oil or coolant and bearings will wear. There is no normal service life for turbos but pay attention to any white or blue smoke in the exhaust and any loss of power. These are signs that a turbo is in need of replacement.

This turbo is a factory-rebuilt unit with all new Genuine BMW seals and hardware with the internals professionally balanced. You can replace one at a time but if one is showing wear the other will not be far behind. Price includes a $500 core charge which may be refunded upon the return of your rebuildable 535i turbo.
