Boost Vacuum Tank, Rein - E82 135i/1M, E9X 335i, E60 535i, E89 Z4 35i

There are two of these tanks used on N54 twin-turbo models. They accumulate and hold vacuum to be used on the N54 turbos (one for each turbo). If vacuum can't be stored the wastegates on the turbo will not function, leading to low boost or overboost faults. There's nothing to really fail on these tanks but they do leak occasionally and require replacement.

This is a N54 vacuum tank manufactured by Rein Automotive (CRP) - a front-line supplier of original equipment, private label, and in-house engineered replacement parts.
