N20 Turbocharger Install Kit, BMW - 228i/328i/428i/528i, X1/X3/X4, Z4

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11652411444 (11 65 2 411 444) and is described as a factory install kit for the turbocharger on N20 and N26 engines in F22 228i, F30 320i/328i, F32 428i, F10 528i, E84 X1, F25 X3, and F26 X4 28i. This is a kit of all-factory parts and is used by BMW and dealer techs when installing an N20 turbo.

This is different than the kit we put together for N20 turbo replacement. Our kit will include the exhaust manifold studs and more o-rings. The BMW kit has more of the regular hardware (that we think can be re-used). We still prefer our own kit but let us know if you want to come up with your own. Oil Supply Line: BMW has issued numerous revised parts for the oil feed line going to the turbo. The original design would allow oil to leak back into the turbo after the engine was shut off. This resulted in blue smoke on cold start-up. BMW will replace the oil supply line as part of the emissions warranty but we do offer it separately if you are out of warranty or it was already done.

This is a Genuine BMW N20 turbo install kit with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
