+ Rear cat-back exhaust + Cut & slip-on installation (similar to factory)
+ Lighter weight
+ H-pipe for more power and torque
+ 3" 304 stainless steel tubing
+ Made by MagnaFlow for BimmerWorld
This rear section was developed for our no-holds barred track conversion M4 GTMore project. Loosely based on the factory GT4 exhaust, our rear section eliminates the large factory muffler. It is LOUD and obviously does not have the electronic valves or muffler packing to decrease exhaust volume. But without the large rear muffler this is a lot lighter than the factory system.
An H-pipe section is included. We tested multiple variations and placement in the exhaust and this H-pipe made the most power and torque. And not just at peak output either - our exhaust made over 15ft-lbs more torque at than even the GT4 race exhaust!!! It also held power better at the top-end too! The dyno was done with the full GTMore exhaust, including the front section so dyno numbers will vary when tested with any other exhaust.
This rear exhaust is a slip-on to the stock center cat section. Spacers are included to clearance the factory transmission tunnel brace away from the larger exhaust pipes. We designed the rear to be a full exhaust with our GTMore front cat-delete (for track use only). Because of the placement of the cut and clamp, this may work with other exhaust mid-sections.
Currently only available with black PVD coating tips.
