Starting in 2012, BMW had two versions of the F30 328i and F32 428i engine: The standard (regular) N20 2.0 liter Turbo and the SULEV (lower emissions) N26 2.0 liter Turbo, which was found in all California, New York, Massachusetts and other states with SULEV emissions legislation.
If you have a 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016 SULEV (N26) model 328i and 428i (RWD / without xDrive) this exhaust will fit. This exhaust also fits all of the newer (2017+) B-series engine equipped 330i and 430i (RWD / without xDrive).
The F30 328i/330i and F32 428i/430i sound just "OK" from the factory, but this is because they are designed to have a more subtle tone for the average BMW owner. There's basically only a whisper of the 328i or 428i's available performance!
