Wagner Racing Catless Downpipe - F22 228i, F30 320i/328i, F32 428i

These downpipes for the N20 engine in the F22 228i, F30/F31/F34 328i, and F32/F33/F36 428i improve power, torque, turbo efficiency, and make the engine louder. All advantages that your F22/F30/F32 track car will benefit from. The Wagner Tuning N20 downpipes flow better than stock and other designs thanks to CAD engineering, oversized stainless steel piping, and OE-style connectors. These are some of the best fitting F22/F30/F32 downpipes we have seen to date. The Wagner DP increases power by eliminating restrictions in the stock pipes. Reducing backpressure makes the turbo more efficient and longer-lasting while minimizing the potential for fault codes and limp modes when on track. With less backpressure the turbo can spool up faster and be more responsive - more boost is available sooner and with less lag.

Race software from Epic Motorsports is strongly recommended with this cat-less downpipe. Our race software has been adapted from our own F30 328i racing program and the result of years of racing the N20. Additional power and torque gains are realized with our software over only using the downpipe. The Epic N20 race software will also eliminate fault codes and check engine lights that come from using this downpipe with stock software (helping to pass post-race tech inspection).

Notice of Fault Codes/Check Engine Light - Using any Racing downpipe could result in a check engine light and fault codes, even with sport cats. Although we have heard of cases where no check engine light appeared, these Racing downpipes are not designed to meet emissions testing and regulations. Race software that is specific to your mods is strongly advised to better adapt your car to a racing environment, keep the fault codes from appearing, optimize power gains, and improve general drivability. Application Note: for 2013-2016 N20 engine only, not for 2012 F30 328i or any N26 SULEV engine. Check the emissions sticker on the underside of your hood for ULEV (N20) or SULEV (N26) engine spec.
