This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 18111175312 (18 11 1 175 312) and is described as a 3-bolt exhaust flange typically used to convert a US-style exhaust (center resonator) to a Euro-style exhaust (such as Supersprint). Most of the Euro exhaust systems are built using this 3-bolt flange while the US had the 2-bolt.
