This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11627505789 and is described as the gasket between the exhaust manifold and cylinder head on M60, M62, M62TU, N62, N73, and S62 engines. This part supersedes former BMW part #11620148951.

Note that on M60/M62/S62 the bank 1 rear gasket is different (BMW part #11627509677).

Fresh gaskets are essential to avoid exhaust leaks, lean condition codes, and other side effects of having hot exhaust gases dumping into your engine bay. Because the gaskets deform when tightened, new gaskets must be used whenever they are removed.

This is an OEM exhaust manifold gasket manufactured by Elring - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other gaskets and seals.
