These Track Pipes have been discontinued by Rogue. The only purpose for these pipes is to delete the primary cats. These Track Pipes (also known as Test Pipes) delete primary cats but leave the rest of the factory exhaust intact.
For real track/race cars the better solution is our BimmerWorld Racing X-Pipe. A true racing exhaust is lighter and flows better and allows an easy switch back to stock at any time.
The E9X M3 uses two sets of catalytic converters - a primary pair just after the headers and a secondary set further along the exhaust. The front primaries are so restrictive that deleting them gives an instant 20hp/20ft-lbs gain with no other modifications. Deleting the entire cat section - all four cats - gives even more power and sound: 34hp/29ft-lbs. Any change to the factory cats is not legal for street use.
These Rogue Test Pipes install by cutting off the original factory primary cats and clamping the new straight pipes in place. They fit to the stock header flanges and use the original crush gaskets. You can reinstall the original primary cats at any time using the same exhaust clamp. All four factory oxygen sensors reinstall in the original locations.
