- Optimized mix of deionized water and Water Wetter
- Improves heat transfer and reduces cylinder head temperature
- Reduces or eliminates bubbles or vapor barrier that creates localized high temps
- Reduce coolant temps by up to 20°F
- Cleans and lubricates water pump seals
- Compatible with all types of coolant and antifreeze
- Does not significantly reduce coolant freeze point
- Safe for use with all modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze cooling systems
- Contains no ethylene glycol (perfect for track use)
Red Line SuperCool Extreme is Water Wetter pre-mixed with distilled water and can be used on its own as a superior coolant (no antifreeze) or as an additive to antifreeze to improve heat transfer. It's original intended use was in powersports where wide-open throttle and high cylinder head temps go hand-in-hand. Water Wetter was developed specifically to reduce internal head temperatures and allow engines to run cooler even at the extreme end of the RPM band.
SuperCool Extreme can be used on its own. It's pre-mixed with distilled water and is ready-to-use out of the bottle. It's really intended as an additive or in systems with smaller capacity (hence the half-gallon size). But it can be used on its own, especially in environments that don't need a traditional antifreeze (i.e. race or dedicated track cars). It's safe for use with all modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze cooling systems and reduces rust buildup, surface corrosion and slows electrolysis. For maximum corrosion protection it should be replenished or replaced every 15,000 miles.
Note: Extreme does not contain ethylene glycol and has no antifreeze properties. Cars that see freezing temps or still retain the air conditioning system must continue to use coolant that contains antifreeze. But the volume of coolant can be reduced and replaced with Water Wetter. For cars that don't see freezing temps, have no A/C, and have regular maintenance (such as a properly maintained race car), you can run with straight distilled water and Water Wetter. Most racetracks prohibit coolant and antifreeze anyway and since Water Wetter contains no ethylene glycol it's ideal as a track-replacement coolant.
1/2 gallon size (1.89 liters). Mix with a half-gallon of your preferred coolant. Most BMW cooling systems have a total capacity of just over 2 gallons. Water Wetter is also available in a 12oz non-mixed straight formula.
