Red Line Engine Assembly Lube

Red Line Engine Assembly Lube is formulated as a lubricant to be applied to potential wear surfaces before assembly. The lube prevents metal contact upon startup before adequate lubrication is supplied. This engine assembly lube provides three times greater film strength than conventional black Molybdenum Disulfide greases, and it won't clog oil filters. It clings to all surfaces and is an excellent rust inhibitor, making it perfect for storing parts for years. A thin film of protection is all that is required on mating parts.

Red Line Engine Assembly Lube will mix with Red Line motor oil and can be used on all lubricated parts, such as cams, followers, pistons, bearings, and bolt threads. Only a small amount is required on bearing and piston surfaces - too much can make it difficult to turn over the engine. Do not use on exhaust bolts or other high temperature bolts which require an anti-seize.

The 3/4oz packet is great for camshaft installations or any job requiring only a small amount of assembly lube, while the 4oz jar is the perfect amount for a complete engine rebuild.
