Red Line RL-600 Racing Brake Fluid is a high-performance brake fluid that's perfect for street or track use. RL-600 Dot 4-compliant full synthetic brake fluid matches the quality you expect from Red Line Oil. Red Line's RL600 Brake Fluid is engineered to maintain viscosity, lubricity and compressibility at extreme temperatures to help safeguard against brake fading and vapor lock in racing, performance driving and street applications. As with any brake fluid, its quality is only as good as its freshness. That's why it's important to change your brake fluid often, especially with regular track use. Made in USA.
Normal or Low Viscosity? For the track it's always Normal Viscosity brake fluid. This is because Low viscosity fluids will be too thin once exposed to typical track temperatures. For regular road and street use, however, you should use whichever fluid came from the factory. The cutoff between Normal and Low is not by model year. If your chassis existed before 2004 it uses Normal viscosity (all chassis up to E53). But if the chassis was introduced after 2003 it will use Low viscosity fluid (all new chassis starting with E60). The lone exception is the E53 X5 which could take either: 1999-2003 X5 uses Normal; 2004-2006 X5 uses Low.
