Left and Right Wishbones (Lower Control Arms) with HD ball joints and bushings
Left and Right Wishbone Bushings (Rear) pre-installed into new brackets

This is the set of front lower control arms and bushings for F48 X1, F39 X2, and MINI F54/F60 models using improved Meyle HD materials and design. Meyle HD parts are re-engineered to be better in every aspect than the original BMW part. This includes ball joints with improved materials and larger surface area as well as solid rubber bushings that deflect less and last longer. But because they retain a rubber material, Noise, Vibration, and Harshness does not increase over a factory rubber bushing.

The original bushings are also made of rubber but is a softer durometer that lacks precision, even when new. The softer bushings wear out sooner and more easily. Worn bushings will affect the ride, handling, and steering of the car and can also cause clunking noises and vibrations. To restore steering precision and crisp handling, replace the X1 control arm bushings at the first sign of wear.
