Some aftermarket wheels, such as the Maxilite X Spoke wheels in 7" wide configurations (15x7" and 16x7"), have a slightly thinner wheel pad – the portion of the wheel that mounts to the wheel hub of the car. This is not usually a problem, but on some E30 application the wheel bolts can protrude a couple millimeters too far, and interfere with the rear parking brake.
NOT intended for stock wheels. This shorter wheel bolt is specifically for these applications where using a standard length wheel bolt can lead to an interference issue on the rear.
