The Smartycam Dual GP kit comes with an internal microphone on the camera unit and the standard Deutch harness. But if you want to run an external mic you need this alternate “Full” harness. This harness has all of the leads of the standard harness plus an Ethernet port and the external mic jack.
Full Harness includes:
5-pin Binder 712 expansion connector (AiM CAN Hi/Lo, Ground
Ethernet port
3.5mm external mic jack
Deutsch connector leads (power in, Ground, ECU CAN Hi, ECU CAN Lo, Ground)
