High Pressure Fuel Pump, Bosch - F10 550i, F13 650i, F02 750i, X5/X6 50i, X5M/X6M (N63A)

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 13517595339 (13 51 7 595 339) and is described as High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP for short) for the early N63 and S63 twin turbo V8 engines. This is the 1st generation pump that applies to the N63A (N63B44O0) and S63A (S63B44O0). Not for the later N63TU or S63TU engines.

For cars that use this style high pressure fuel pump, there are two on each car. This high pressure fuel pump is sold individually. 

The fuel supply system of the N63 and S63 engines is VERY particular. Due to the high demands of fuel for these super powerful engines, if the fuel pressure is even slightly off from spec, you will receive fuel system malfunction warning codes and alarms. The safest solution to solving a low fuel pressure situation on the N63 and S63 turbo V8 engines is to replace both pumps. These pumps can and will fail eventually, leaving your BMW either not drivable or in a limp mode.

Bosch is the original equipment manufacturer to BMW, and is one of the few companies who have the manufacturing capabilities to produce this highly specialized high pressure fuel pump.
