This fuel pump assembly contains the Pump/Motor with Seal Ring, Strainer, and Supply Tube.  The Fuel Level Sensor is sold separately (BMW part #16146752370).

Few systems on your car go bad without warning but a fuel pump is one of them. Luckily the Original BMW fuel pumps last a long time and it might only have to be replaced once in a car's lifetime. The pump is either working or it's not. If power gets to the pump but no fuel is going through it's likely contaminated or old fuel clogging the pump internals. Pumps that have been installed cannot be returned for a refund.
