Fuel Transfer / Sucking Jet Pump, BMW - E46 M3

Fuel Transfer Tube for E46 M3. Connects the Left and Right sides of the fuel tank. This tube is sometimes referred to as the Sucking Jet Pump.

A common symptom of a failed Sucking Jet Pump is fuel starvation despite the fuel gauge looking OK. A cracked or plugged suction tube will be unable to draw fuel from the left side of the fuel tank, leaving the in-tank fuel pump high and dry.
