The rubber intake boot connects the air flow sensor with the ASC throttle body on 1996-1999 E36 323i, 328i, M3 and Z3 2.8 and MZ3 S52. Poor running, stalling, idle issues, throttle surging, and other running issues are usually caused by a crack or rip in this throttle body boot. Luckily it's an easy and cheap fix to get your M52/S52 engine running smoothly again.
This boot retains the stock ASC (traction control) throttle body and maintains the factory function and appearance in your engine bay, including the idle control valve pipe. Other boots are also available if you're planning to delete the ASC traction control.
This is E36 TB boot and comes with a two year warranty.
