HFM Mass Airflow Sensor, Aftermarket - E82, E9X, F10, F25, E70, F15, N55

This is the Hot Film Mass Air Meter, also known simply as an HFM, as used on some of the earlier N55 6 cylinder engines. 

Not for cars with N54 Engine. This HFM is specifically for the N55 "twinscroll" (single turbo that was often labeled as "twinpower turbo") engine and does not work for the early twin turbo models. It is very much specific to the N55 engine. 

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 13627593624 (13 62 7 593 624) and is described as Fuel System Hot-film Mass Air Meter 13627593624.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many sensors. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
