Differential Pressure Sensor, Aftermarket - E82, E9X, E6X, X3, X5, Z4, N52, N62, N72

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 13628657300 (13 62 8 657 300) and is described as a pressure differential sensor located in the intake manifold of N51/N52 6-cylinder, N62 V8, and N72 V12 engines. The sensor measures intake air pressure and is part of the DISA intake flap system.

We have also heard of people using this sensor on E9X M3 brake vacuum line (#34302283605) to replace the original pressure sensor (code 27E4). We have not confirmed this is a successful alternative but it is documented online.

BMW calls this a “Differential” Pressure Sensor but it's really a Pressure Differential sensor. It has nothing to do with a driveline differential.

This part supersedes, or is compatible with, BMW part numbers 13 62 8 657 300, 13628617097, 13627585278, 13627542623, 13627503208, 13620414704, 13620151009, 8644432, A2C964484200.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many electrical sensors. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
