aFe cold air intakes for F30 328i use an open air box in the engine bay. This cover can be used to seal off the top of the intake heat shield and completely seal off the filter from engine bay heat. It can also be used to lower the intake sound if you think the intake is too loud. Fits with aFe intake kits 51-12212 and 54-12212.

However, because it is part of the emissions system it is not legal for installation or use on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle in any state, province, or jurisdiction governed by, or which has adopted, EPA regulations. Some suppliers will not ship to certain states, requiring extra delivery time. We will advise you of any delays.
