Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake System - F3X F87 F22 (N55 6 Cylinder)

This is Injen's premium intake system for the N55 powered BMW 2/3/4 series models, which builds off their simpler Ram Air system and adds a sealed molded plastic air box to both insulate the airflow from the engine bay better, as well as add further tune the airflow for maximum performance with zero downsides. 

One of the aspects we love the most at BimmerWorld is the difference in SOUND the Evo intake makes for these N55 powered M235i, M2, 335i, and 435i models. This intake adds a noticeable "growl" under acceleration, which is a welcome sound on the otherwise quiet N55 engine. It also makes the engine "sound" more like a turbo engine, with a more pronounced waste-gate sound when lifting from heavy acceleration. It's something you need to install for yourself to fully hear, feel, and appreciate.

Quality Materials & Design
Injen's one-piece housing uses a patent-pending Twist-Lock mechanism which securely (and easily) attaches the Injen SuperNano-Web Dry air filter in place. This offers a seamless fitment to the original factory inlet scoop. Injen also used premium hardware that's worth of being under the hood of a BMW. 

The final design was the culmination of much dyno testing and revision, with dyno proven gains of up to 21 hp and 18/lb-ft of torque. This is power you can both feel and hear, and if you do additional performance tuning, this intake kit will help achieve the biggest power gains possible. 

This is also a very lightweight design, thanks to the high-strength roto-molded Polyethylene construction. Other intake systems often use heavier metal or overly thick plastic materials. Why add weight when trying to achieve added power? 

Simple Installation
Installation is simple and can be done using only very simple hand tools by even the most modest "do it yourself" BMW owner. No paid mechanic required! This simple drop-in installation can typically be done within 20 minutes, making this one of the easiest and most worthwhile modifications you can do on an N55 powered BMW.
