The Mishimoto 2021+ BMW G8X M3/M4 Performance Intake is a complete bolt-on kit and direct replacement to the stock intake airbox setup. This is a very straight forward "do it yourself" type modification which includes all necessary components for an easy installation. This kit is specifically made and tuned for the G8X S58B30 engine platform, featuring CNC-machined components and roto-molded airboxes and intake tubes. This type of construction provides optimal airflow, great rigidity, as well as insulative properties to prevent and resist heat-soak effects. It has been precision engineered using 3D scanning, CAD, 3D-printed prototyping, and flow bench testing -- all to ensure it works as well as it looks under the hood. This intake can be used safely with either completely stock ECU programming or aftermarket performance tuning. 

The airboxes both use a washable oiled gauze media filter for best flow and air filtration. These filters can be cleaned and re-oiled repeatedly for a lifetime of use. Fresh, cool air is sourced from behind the wheel wells and directed to this pair of optimized performance air filter, improving the quality, temperature, and amount of the air to the S58 engine's intake system.
