FTP Motorsport Charge Pipe Kit - F22/F3X M235i 335i 435i X3 X4 35i

The turbocharged N55 engine in your BMW is built to perform reliably and efficiently, but the engineers still left some room for improvement. Upgrading the charge-air piping has 2 main benefits:

Improved Reliability: BMW N55 engines use a plastic pipe to route combustion air from the intercooler to the throttle body. The factory plastic pipe is a common failure point. With age and constant heat cycles, the plastic becomes brittle and develops cracks, resulting in boost leaks, check engine lights, and poor running conditions. Included installation hardware, seals, and a set of robust 3-ply silicone couplers prevents air leaks, adding extreme durability under heavy loads.

Increased Performance: Replacing the molded plastic charge-air pipe with a smooth aluminum FTP charge pipe kit improves throttle response and reduces turbo lag. This charge pipe also features a 1/8" NPT threaded port for water/methanol injection.

This kit is designed to fit BMW F22/F23 M235i (2014-2016), F30/F34 335i (2011-2012), F32/F33/F36 435i (2011-2016), F25 X3 35i (2011-2017), F26 X4 35i M40i (2014-2018).

Compatible with manual or automatic transmission applications. Kit includes a plug and a nipple to cover both manual and automatic versions of the charge pipe connections. 

Compatible with rear-wheel and xDrive models. FTP has designed this single product to cover the entire range of F22/F3X N55 applications.

Replaces BMW part number 13717604033 (13-71-7-604-033).
