This 8 foot version of the applicator hose allows this to be simpler as a one person job by allowing the can to reach the cockpit, allowing the user to modulate throttle while feeding the intake system with the Red Line intake cleaner spray.
For use with the Red Line Total Intake Cleaning System aerosol cans, part number 17020-SINGLE (sold separately).

Used for applying the pressurize intake cleaning solution made by Red Line. These cleaning system is specially designed for direct injection engines, such as the later GDI (gas direct injection) turbo and diesel engines by BMW (as well as VW, Audi, Mercedes, and more).
The S-Hook is intended to be slipped inside the intake tract, as close to the throttle body as possible, to help apply atomized intake inlet cleaning solution from a 40 lb pressurized aerosol spray can (sold separately, see part # 17020-SINGLE or 17020 for case quantities).
These hoses and accessories are reusable for many applications of the cleaning spray.
