This OEM Replacement D2-S Xenon Headlight Bulb is the perfect match for your OE BMW HID headlight, as it creates the exact same light quality and brightness as an original stock D2S bulb. BMW doesn't manufacturer it's own Xenon bulbs, but rather uses manufacturers like Hella, Flosser, Philips or Osram-Sylvania. These bulbs are premium quality, made to strict specifications, unlike some products sold through online auction houses. While aesthetics if Xenon/HID lights play a small roll for some, these bulbs mostly represent a level of driver and passenger safety for night driving, so we recommend that you invest in a quality product now, and avoid the pitfalls of an inferior bulb.

Please note, old/aging Xenon bulbs tend to shift to a more blue/purple color. If you are replacing one burned out bulb, we recommend replacing both bulbs to both save time and prevent a mis-matched color between headlights. If your other headlight bulb is shifted towards the blue/purple/pink light spectrum, it can be a sign of pending failure. For this reason, we always recommend replacing both HID D2S bulbs simultaneously.
