AeroCatch is the hood fastener kit for a new century. The principle remains the same - a robust pin inserted into a post to secure your hood (or other body panel). But AeroCatch is superior from traditional cheap hood pin kits by giving a nearly-flush installation, secure attachment to the panel, and high security.
The AeroCatch mechanism is located under the panel surface, away from debris that can damage or release an exposed pin. The pin slides into a post that you mount on the front radiator support*. The latch is engaged by pressing on the outside tab. It's released with a simple push of a button. No more fussing with a bent or missing pin or misaligned post. * - ensure the surface is properly reinforced for the loads a hood pin will see. Most radiator supports are thin sheetmetal or plastic and will need additional layers under the post.
AeroCatch kit comes with everything you need for install - 2 AeroCatch housings, 2 steel strike pins, 2 retaining plates, 2 posts with rubber bumper stops, hardware, install template, and arrow stickers.
