The HP77 helmet is an update to the F1-inspired HP7 released a few years ago. The HP77 lowered the eyebrow height of the view port by 12mm (1/2") to improve frontal impact strength and protection. Both the HP7 and HP77 meet the latest FIA 8860 "super helmet" standards but have not been submitted for a Snell rating. This helmet should be reserved for drivers competing in FIA events that require the latest FIA safety standard. Check with your sanctioning body if they would allow the FIA helmet in place of the Snell rating (they should).

See image above for sizes and measuring guide. Bell helmets are typically measured in centimeters. If you're in-between sizes, choose the smaller size. There may be some "Plus" and "Minus" sizes listed. These will increase or decrease room inside the shell by varying the padding thickness. Plus is more room (reduced padding); Minus is less room (more padding). Padding will compress over time but not much and the sizes are typically spot on.
