ChillOut cooling systems are the next wave in keeping your drivers cool during sessions. Using a proprietary cooling solution instead of ice makes the ChillOut system lighter, more reliable, and more consistent for longer stints. The system requires no ice and uses its own propylene glycol formula with distilled water to give you continuous cooling through the ChillOut shirt. You get cooling for as long as the system is running! There are so many advancements with ChillOut because the system was designed by and for racers.
A minimum kit requires the Cooler, baseplate, hardwired to a dedicated 30A circuit, coolant, coolant hose, and a shirt. We recommend 4" ducting and hose to supply the Cooler with the cleanest, coolest airflow (it's not recommended to mount the Cooler against a hot panel or any place where it may draw chemical fumes). Using 4 inch ducting eliminates the need for a supplemental blower. 3 inch ducting, though effective, can be very restrictive and require the use of a high performance (250+ cfm) blower. Exhaust venting is not necessary as the system basically cools itself. Additional accessories include breakaway connectors, longer hoses, different shirt styles, ducts, and blowers.
