Schroth Quick Fit harnesses are a slick bolt-in 2" safety restraint that works with your existing seat belt tensioner and airbag system. Quick Fit are model specific with the correct clip-in buckles for your car. By utilizing the existing reinforced seatbelt mounting points, there is no need to drill new holes in your chassis or worry about installing the belts at the proper angles. The main harness can be unclipped and removed in seconds. Only two small anchor belts remain bolted in place and left behind.
Taking advantage of the stock seatbelt buckles means the factory SRS and airbag systems remain active. On BMW SRS systems the airbag deployment and seat belt tensioning logic is set by the seatbelt buckle. Incorporating the buckle into the Schroth harness retains the safety features of the SRS system. All Schroth harnesses also feature their patented ASM technology that prevents your body from submarining under the lap belt. Quick Fit harnesses have been tested and approved for use with the stock seats in the E82 and E92 coupes.
Quick Fit harnesses use a standard push button lap belt buckle which makes them TUV approved and DOT compliant. The standard Quick Fit is not compatible with HANS devices (use Quick Fit Pro).
When using any racing harness in any environment - even normal street use - adhere to this advice: "all the way tight, all of the time". Never loosen or slacken the belts for comfort or convenience! A loose racing harness will not protect you. Schroth E92 Quick Fit details -
