We went looking for a racing rearview mirror that didn't break easily and were happy to find this. This convex mirror impressed us with solid construction, multiple mounting methods, and quality craftsmanship. It's offered in two materials: carbon fiber (pictured) and vinyl. This listing is for the vinyl shell with a black brushed finish and weighs 12.8oz. Overall mirror length is 17.7" in a 2.36" height. The convex mirror gives a 160° view with zero distortion.
This mirror can mount to your header bar in several ways -
- From the top using the center bracket and header brackets (sold separately)
- Hang below the header bar with header brackets on the side (sold separately)
- Tight against a 1.5" header bar with header brackets on the side (sold separately)
The center mount bracket is sold separately.
We mount this with readily available Longacre header bar brackets. If a racing mirror has already been installed you might still have the header brackets to re-use (or buy new from the links below).
